Hero - Justin Worley

Kit and Christina Worley both knew they wanted to be organ donors, but they never dreamed they would have to make that decision for their 4 year-old son, Justin. “It’s a gift that, yes, we gave, but it’s also a gift to us just knowing that our tragedy can be somebody else’s miracle.”Martin County Firefighters were so touched by the gift of life that Justin gave, they decided to grant him his final wish by bringing him into the Fire Department family and making him an Honorary Rescue Lieutenant Firefighter just like his Daddy. Justin was so proud to wear a Firefighters’ uniform complete with brass!
The Firefighters honored their little fallen hero with a full Fireman’s funeral, a tribute to the many lives Justin touched in his few short years.
